Leadership Akron Announces NEXT Class 13: Shaping Akron's Past, Present, and Future
Leadership Akron proudly introduces the members of NEXT Class 13, a distinguished assembly of leaders dedicated to shaping Akron's past, present, and future. This innovative two-month program invites individuals at or nearing retirement to leverage their extensive experience and expertise, influencing the community's trajectory through meaningful engagement.
NEXT, an acronym for New Endeavors for eXperienced Talent, offers participants a platform to redefine their role within Akron's evolving narrative. By connecting with influential peers and community leaders, participants can deepen their understanding of the region's history, current challenges, and future opportunities.

About the NEXT Program
Leadership Akron's NEXT program is designed to empower experienced leaders as they transition into or navigate retirement. It is tailored for individuals with a history of community leadership, including retired executives who were previously unable to engage due to career demands, and alumni of the Signature Program seeking a "refresher" on the Akron community. This immersive two-month experience allows participants to explore new avenues of involvement, connect with like-minded peers, and develop personal roadmaps for continued community engagement. Through leadership development, education, and networking opportunities, NEXT equips its members to leave a lasting legacy in Akron.
