Leadership Akron Edge, a program delivered in partnership with Torchbearers, connects interns, post-graduates, and early career professionals with established leaders to showcase Akron as a thriving place to live and work.
Leaders Ready To Embark.
Each Edge session offers access to community decision-makers and lessons for personal and professional development. Edge gives participants a head start on career success and community involvement, while strengthening young employees’ ties to Greater Akron to retain their talent in our community. Each participant will take the Strengths Finders assessment to learn how to capitalize on their strengths in the workplace and beyond.
Edge meets on Thursdays in June and July from 4:30 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Sessions will cover topics that emphasize plugging in to the community, making connections that count, capitalizing on strengths, and leading by example.
