Through an interactive day of site visits, presentations, and engagement with key leaders in our community, Insight Akron offers the perfect opportunity for leaders to “hit the ground running” in greater Akron. Insight Akron is a good alternative for an individual who may not currently have time for a more intensive Leadership Akron program. The cost for this program is $550.00

Insight Akron will:

  • Acquaint participants with key organizations, decision-makers, and issues in the community

  • Connect participants with other leaders across sectors, including business, education, arts, parks & environment, city & county leadership, etc.

  • Expose participants to a number of Akron’s unique assets

  • Familiarize participants with the rich history of Akron

“I have lived in Akron all of my life & I gained so much important & valuable history that I never knew! Learned about many interesting places so close to my home & I love it! I had an amazing time & met some wonderful new people!!”

-Insight Akron participant

“I appreciate that the word collaboration wasn't just used, but throughout the day, we saw real-life examples of how it is happening in multiple facets of our community. I have already followed up with one community contact I met yesterday, and I plan to follow up with a few others. I left feeling energized and had lots of ideas!”
