Leadership Akron Unveils NEXT Class 12

Leadership Akron is pleased to announce the members of its upcoming NEXT Class 12, a two-month program tailored for community-driven individuals at or approaching the retirement stage.

NEXT, an acronym for New Endeavors for eXperienced Talent, offers these established leaders a unique platform to define their next chapter of community involvement and impact while connecting with like-minded peers.

“As we launch into our 40th year of leadership curation, we are thrilled to welcome this exceptional group of individuals to our NEXT Class 12," said Justin Hilton, President and CEO of Leadership Akron. "Their collective expertise and passion for Akron's growth is palpable. As they embark on this journey, we are confident they will further enrich our community, creating a ripple effect that resonates with Akron's spirit of resilience and innovation."

These participants will enjoy an immersive two-month program, getting firsthand access to changemakers and leaders, while broadening their understanding of the Greater Akron community's needs, assets, resources, and challenges. The program also facilitates the cultivation of new and meaningful relationships, as well as personal roadmaps for community involvement and legacy.
