APPLICATION & TUITION

Junior Leadership Akron applications are processed through each high school's guidance office; if you are currently a sophomore and would like to be considered for the JLA program next year, reach out to your guidance counselor as soon as possible. Please email Aimee Ritter if you have any questions.

APPLICANT CRITERIA:

Each high school in Summit County (both public and private) is invited to select two students for participation each year. To meet the requirements for Junior Leadership Akron, each student should:

  • Have attained junior class status by the end of the school year

  • Maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 2.5

TUITION:

Tuition for Junior Leadership Akron is $150 per student thanks to the generosity and support from The J.M. Smucker Co.
