Manager, Compensation & HRIS
Provides strategic and operational leadership for Summa Health System compensation and human resources information systems (HRIS) and related systems for approximately 8,000 employees (including out-of-state remote employees). Oversees the design and development of competitive pay policies and practices to attract and retain productive employees and reward/incentive systems aimed at increasing operational productivity. Maximizes the efficiency of available systems collaborating with IT&S and Payroll departments. Ensures the integrity of the HR data and reports HR metrics. Ensures programs and services comply with system policy, procedures, legal and regulatory requirements.
Formal Education Required:
-Bachelor’s degree in Business, Human Resources, Psychology, or closely related field of study.
-Masters degree preferred.
Experience and Training Required:
-Five (5) years increasingly responsible professional Human Resources work experience which has provided leadership skills that includes compensation program development, job description development, market analysis, design and implementation of creative pay/reward systems, and working in Human Resources Information System (HRIS).

-Understanding of HRIS system (e.g., tables, fields, processes).
-Population Specific Competency: Ability to effectively interact with patients/customers with the understanding of their needs for self-respect and dignity.
Level of Physical Demands:
-Sedentary: Experts up to ten pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently.
