Green CLI

The Green CLI is a customized CLI designed in collaboration with Leadership Akron and the City of Green, Ohio, to foster and encourage community engagement in Green. Immerse yourself in an in-depth leadership program focused on Green's key assets with top decision-makers. The CLI is designed for business and community leaders who are interested in learning more about the community where they live, work and play. The six-session program held in the fall will address topics to stimulate a broader understanding of the social, economic, policy, and environmental issues impacting Green. The CLI will also provide participants with an avenue to become more engaged and help shape the city's future.

Participants of the Green CLI will:

  • Become more connected and engaged in the community
  • Learn more about civic organizations and the issues they face
  • Develop and understanding of how local public policy is developed and implemented
  • Network with like-minded, community-oriented peers
